OUR SAN JOSE CHAPTER FOUNDER

Hi! My name is Deeksha Raj, and I am currently a Junior at Lynbrook High School in
San Jose. My High School is deeply involved in stem and the culture of my community
is also very integrated in the stem world which is why I believe we need to introduce
stem topics to kids at a younger age. I have known I wanted to pursue stem however,
for years I was very conflicted on deciding what specific field I wanted to go into. I know
that if I had access to organizations like stemology for kids I would have found my
passion earlier or even been able to discover other more intriguing fields. I created the
San Jose chapter to provide kids in my community with engaging and educational
experiences that lead them to their passion!
