HIGHLAND PARK CHAPTER
USA
Hi! My name is Ella Kaplan, and I am the co-founder of the Highland Park chapter for Stemology. I am currently a junior at Highland Park High School and enjoy working in STEM. I joined Stemology because I have a passion for STEM, and also love teaching children! I currently tutor at my high school and love teaching math, science, and engineering! I am also involved in a club at my school that teaches young women in STEM to code call GirlsCode. I believe that Stemology's mission to teach STEM at such a young age will inspire many other students to find their passion for STEM. Our mission is extremely important nowadays because of the evolving STEM roles in our society. I hope to spread our mission to many communities around us and hopefully expand our chapter as soon as possible.

Hi! My name is Sarah Goldstein, and I am a senior at Highland Park High School. I am also a co-founder of the Highland Park chapter of Stemology. I started down the STEM path at an early age and now continue to engage those interests with AP and Honors math, physics, chemistry, engineering, and computer science courses at school. Through various leadership roles in my academic and social life, I have learned important skills regarding leadership, communication, and efficient teamwork. I believe that with this strong team of inspired people, we can work together to engage young students in our developing technology-based world. I want to use my passion for STEM to make an impact on impressionable young children in our community.

Hi! I am Mia Rubenstein, and I am currently a sophomore at Highland Park High School! I joined Stemology because STEM is so important to learn at a young age, and I want to help expand knowledge within STEM to younger generations. STEM can lead to amazing opportunities and can spark creativity, questions, and passions that are necessary for children to succeed within the classroom and in life. In my free time, I play lacrosse and field hockey! I also love being with friends and family (especially my dog)!

Hi, my name is Ilya Rivkin, and I am currently in 10th grade at Highland Park High School. I am on the swim team and am a part of several other clubs at Highland Park. Currently, my favorite class is math, and I am excited to be taking engineering next year because I am a very hands-on person. I am thrilled to be a part of Stemology at Highland Park High School; I enjoy helping students understand new topics and working with children. Stemology gives me the ability to do both and be hands-on at the same time.

Hi! My name is Evelyn Gehrig, and I am one of the Lesson Prep leaders at the Highland Park chapter of Stemology. I am currently a sophomore at Highland Park High School, and I am passionate about STEM. I am so grateful for the opportunity to instill this same passion in our future leaders! Through my position as Webmaster at my local food pantry, Moraine Township, I have seen the incredible impact students in STEM can have on our communities, even at a young age. I hope to continue making an impact on my community through my participation in Stemology.
