Hi! My name is Jesslyn, and I am a current student at Barnard College. I hope that our team will be able to reach more children in need of our resources. I love teaching children and wanted to be a teacher when I was little. With this opportunity, I want to incorporate my desire to teach children STEM and improvise with any materials.

Hi! My name is Alyssa Chu, and I currently attend Johns Hopkins University. I have a strong interest in public health and health advocacy, and I believe that education and mitigating the achievement gap is the first step to reaching equity for all. Having been part of student leadership as a ninth/tenth grader and serving as an ASB officer next year as a senior, I have learned how to communicate and collaborate effectively with my peers, while staying organized and managing my workload. I believe that these qualities can help contribute to Stemology and make our lessons as impactful as possible!
Our team is resourceful, determined, and passionate about helping others. I trust that we can help make a difference (no matter how small) in these children’s lives. |
Hey! My name is Morgan Hoang, and I currently attend Princeton University. I am highly interested in politics and advocacy, but have a strong engagement with topics in science too! One of my favorite inspirations of all time is Bill Nye, as he has taught us that science is cool; anyone can be a problem solver, and most importantly to advocate for a cause that you care about!
I look forward to meeting new people and teaching others the importance of STEM in our daily lives! I believe that with our developing team's hard work, we will continue to grow and share our vision to those around us. We hope to inspire others to do something that they are passionate about and, most importantly, happy doing! As our organization continues to grow, I hope to inspire young scholars to do what they love. |
